Honolulu, Hawaii – On July 11-12, 2009, three hundred and eighty-one of the nation’s best volleyball players participated in the 10th Annual “King Kamehameha Volleyball Classic.” This event has grown to be the largest event of its kind in the world. No other place do athletes have the opportunity to play on a team coached by a college coach while competing against other teams who are coached by college coaches as well.

In looking forward to the summer of 2010, the King Kamehameha Volleyball Classic committee expects the athlete participation to be between 400-450 athletes from all across the USA. As many as 40-50 college volleyball coaches are expected to be in Honolulu, Hawaii to coach teams in this event
